197 Green Street is a mixed use development consisting of 23 income-restricted units available to BPDA certified artists only. The proposed site is in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, situated between Egleston Square to the North, the Arnold Arboretum to the South Franklin Park to the East and the Southwest Corridor Park to the West; all of which are located within a ¾ mile radius of the proposed project. The current neighborhood is primarily multi and single family residential developments with retail and commercial buildings along Green Street and Washington Street to the East. This project was produced in collaboration with DMS Design.
